Backup Retention

Files: Web file backups are retained on the following schedule*:


On-Site:

Shared/Shared Pro:
6 daily (Mon - Sat at 12am)
2 weekly (Sun at 12am)
8 Total points in time

Standard VPS ($150/300 month):
3 hourly (6am/noon/6pm)
12 daily (M - Sat at 12am)
4 weekly (Sun at 12am)
19 Total points in time

Premium VPS ($500/700/900 month):
6 hourly (6am/noon/6pm)
18 daily (M - Sat at 12am)
6 weekly (Sun at 12am)
30 Total points in time

Private Cluster Solutions**:
6 hourly (6am/noon/6pm)
18 daily (M - Sat at 12am)
6 weekly (Sun at 12am)
30 Total points in time

Self access to backups available via sFTP, located in the hidden ".snapshot" directory.

*New Shared/Shared Pro backup schedule started for all accounts on Aug 15th, 2011. New schedule for all other account types will be implemented on all new account sign-ups or renewing contracts starting on Aug 15th, 2011. **Standard schedule on Private Clusters, backup solutions can be customized.


Off-Site:

Off-site backups are held strictly for internal disaster recovery purposes and are rotated on a two (2) daily and two (2) weekly copy schedule.


MySQL: MySQL backups are retained on the following schedule:

2 weekly (Sunday for 2 weeks)

12 daily (Mon - Sat for 2 weeks)

18 daily (Mon - Sat for 3 weeks)
6 weekly (Sunday for 6 weeks)

Private Cluster Solutions**:
18 daily (Mon - Sat for 3 weeks)

MySQL backups are performed during a "window" of time between 6pm and 12am Central US time
